Sturgis, SD (10.13.2015) – A new 5,046 sq. ft. Adventure’s First Stop – Maverik store will soon be under construction at 2426 Junction Avenue, Sturgis. The chain started in 1928 as a 2-pump gas station in Afton, Wyoming. Maverik now has more than 270 stores in 10 states, making it the largest independent fuel marketer in the Intermountain West.

The store will offer a large selection of ‘made fresh daily’ convenience foods as well as popular convenience items and fuel. The store is scheduled to begin construction this fall and is expected to open in late spring of 2016.
