STURGIS, SD (11/24/2014) – Jake’s Auto Body, currently located in Spearfish, will relocate to 2416 Junction Avenue, Sturgis. Jake’s owners Aaron and Megan Schoon purchased the 6,000 sq. ft. building from Scott Peterson Motors in November. General contractor Iverson Construction is conducting extensive renovations to the existing storm-damaged structure, as well as, adding 2,000 sq. ft. on the north side of the building. Schoon’s expect to be open for business in February 2015.
Schoon’s started Jake’s Auto Body in Spearfish in 2009. They currently employ four full time and expect that to grow to six when they relocate. Jake’s specializes in collision repair and automotive restoration services. Their new location will offer eight bays for enhanced customer service and feature state-of-the art equipment in their environmentally-conscious shop.
Jake’s President Aaron Schoon states, “We are really excited to come to Sturgis. We see a lot of exciting things happening in Sturgis and want to be a part of its growth.”
