STURGIS, SD 5/7/2014 Following the reveal of the newest Indian Classic, Vintage, and Chieftain Motorcycles at the 2013 Sturgis® Motorcycle Rally™, the City of Sturgis and SEDC worked with Indian Motorcycle’s parent company, Polaris Industries of Medina, MN and several dealer applicants to bring the iconic brand back home to Sturgis.  On May 12, Indian Motorcycle Sturgis will open at 2106 Lazelle Street as a full time, year-round sales and service retailer employing 10-12 full time staff. Indian Motorcycle Sturgis is owned by Vern Eide Motorcars, Inc. of Sioux Falls, SD.  They also own Vern Eide Motoplex in Sioux Falls, offering a large array of popular brand name new and used motorcycles. This investment in Sturgis by Polaris Industries and Vern Eide Motorcars, Inc. will set a new pace for our motoring tradition as their sales and service dealership will soon become a retail destination shopping experience.  SEDC is proud to partner with them, and welcome Indian Motorcycle back home to Sturgis.
